front headlights for 05 ml350

hi,

does anybody know of any DIY or how to replace the front left and right headlights, or have to take the truck to the dealership.

I find it easier to remove the headlight assembly to change the bulbs. The clearance in the vehicle is very tight. I changed my 98ML's bulbs once without removing the assembly but after that I found it easier to just remove the entire assembly. It's only 1 bolt on top and 2 nuts on bottom. Just be careful removing the trim piece around the bottom of the headlight so you will remember how the outside part goes on the bracket.

mike,

when you change the bulb, did you have to unspring something in order to remove the bulb, because in the manual it said unspring the spring to remove the bulb,
