Question 20" wheel on ML and not lower it

Would it look weir if I put on 20" on my ML and not lowering it? Would I suffer a lot of ride quality?

Unhappy

I don't want to lower the car because I like to keep the ride as smooth as possible when I put my 20" or 19" on my ML. As for the fender gap, would a set of fender flare solve the problem or do I have to lower it to look good or to hide the now noticiable gap?

Yes, it would look "weir" if you put 20" on an ML, regardless of the ride height.

Resist the bling, it's a friggin' truck after all.
