Look for wet spots where possible leakage might appear under your truck. I had a small leak on mine for years before discovering it was a cracked plastic nipple on top of the fuel pump. The pump is located under the carpet of the rear seat, drivers side. Not easy to get to. Just another example of the CHEAP parts used to build the ML. My 2 cents.
