Please Neeed Help
Hello guys, sorry to give you so much trouble but i bought ml320 used and dont know if it has had a tune and everything but I do change the oil very reugularly. Nopw mine has about 91000 miles and wanted to know what all needs to be done? even with engine oil which is the best to use? what kind of spark should i use and also i heard its necessary to change the auto trans filter, is it true?

If you do not know what has been done at this point I would do everything which is change trans fluid, change oil and filter and a tune up which consists of changing plugs (12 of them).Use all MB OEM suggested materials, fluids and parts.You do not mention the year of your ML.

thank you for your reply my year is 2001. Since I got the car i regularlary change my oil. Which is the actual oil to use. I use mobil 1's high mileage oil. Do let me know

You should have a manual which gives the suggested fluids to use. Mobil 1 is preferred and for the correct grade look in your manual. Do not believe the "high mileage" Mobil 1 is amongst the approved oils.

You can use any oil you want ,recommend not wasting you re money on diesel engine oil,But Fully synthetic oil is always good for ML-320.
Yes it is necessary to change the auto trans filter after a 1-2 year.
Use 5/8" slim spark plug socket for regular plug socket from typical took kit is too fat.
the 17mm works like magic huh..........
