Wink

Reading the description of the Z28 reminds me of the Dead Milkmen song "b*tchin Camaro"

edit to correct my Camaro spelling error

$150, if you don't mind me asking where did you pick it up for that price? BTW it looks really good, I was thinking about doing something like that too.

So here's my question-
The grille pictured is only the strips but you have the solid chrome/silver, is this the same one?

<https://www.autoclass.net/products.a...name2=ML-CLASS>

Item Number : 163 880 1085
ML-55 GRILL ASSEMBLY
CHROMED W/CHROME STAR
Original Mercedes Benz
Regular Price : $199.00
On sale now at : $149.00
Shipping charges : $13.00

I called and left a message so hopefully they'll call back. The strips alone are cheaper at <http://www.formymercedes.com/viewAll_W163.asp>
but the solid is usually $199.

Thanks for your reply.

It is the same price for either the ML55 grille, Silver/chrome and the ML500 grille, black/chrome strips. He just doesn't have a picture of the ML55 grille up on his webpage.

$149 for either.. but I like the ML55 grille the best!!!

I agree. Thanks for the help, hopefully I will have it in the mail later today.

Was the install pretty easy? I don't figure it would be that difficult.

It was simple and only took 10 minutes. I belive that there are 10 or so screws holding the grille on.

1997 Turbocharged Toyota Camry Showcar, and my new 2000 Lexus GS400
Grille Looks awsome...thats what i planned on doing to mine when i buy mine. Either that or get it color matched, the color of the car. Oh yeah, one more thing...just so you know you left the cars tag number visable on the top picture, all the others are removed...kinda defeats the purpose doesnt it? might want to change that, but other than that...keep the pics coming on any diffrent changes!

Yes, it's very, very important to cover your license plate number when posting pictures on the net!

I wonder if these paranoid people also cover their plates when they drive around town. After all, a bunch of strangers could see their plate number.

The horror!
