could be the switch on the center console. My window stopped working couple weeks back There was no power or click at all to the motor and at the end I decide to take the switch apart.
I bend the contact point slightly and put it back to gether. It worked after that. It is tricky to get all the switch back together perfectly. in fact my rear defroster switch dont work now. I suggest gettting a new switch cluster from ebay.

Because you heard a pop the day before, I would check the window regulator. There is a plastic clip that can break. This will cause the window to stay down even though the motor is still working. It is similar to a 94 Toyota Camry, which is notorious for this same incident. You can purchase a complete window regulator assembly from EBay. I have seen them for sale on there for years. Incidentally, the regulators are often position specific. So they are usually sold as RR, RF, LF, or LR respectively and are not interchangeable. Good luck!
