Mud Flaps

Greetings everyone,

I am interested in purchasing some mud flaps that are body colored. I dont think the paint will stick to the regular rubber mud flaps available at the dealers.
Also I am interested in some stainless steal step bars.

Thanks in advance.

hi nick,

i had MB mudflaps on my 2000 ML430.
i hated the way they looked even though the ML was black and the mudflaps black. they did do a pretty good job though.
i bought a 02 ML500(desert silver) but i didn't put any mudflaps on it.
i think the vehicle looks a lot cleaner without the mudflaps but , i found that the lowest painted sections(i live in NE PA.) took a pretty good beating from the winter.

i'll check around the net for flaps but,

if you find anything aftermarket that looks good let me know.

thanks,
jeff

After market mud flaps for ML

Check out the universal mud guards at Pepboys. They look pretty good and I would think they are paintable. I looked at the back and also noticed that it would fit the Mercedes Benz ML320 & ML 430. I thought it wasn't a bad price for only $29.99 a pair.

Talking I think the flaps look much nicer on, especially

if your planning to buy side steps. They look much sleeker if you have these both on. If you just have flaps it'll look funny. And BTW, if you live in the northeast, it'll definitly save you from salt getting into the side of your car, and also dings.
