I'm back! Looking to pickup a 98-00..
About 6 months ago I traded a 99 clk320 for a s2000 and picked up an 89 325i.
Now, I'm looking for a daily like a ml320 to replace the bimmer. The 98-00 are in my budget($5000) and because it's going to be a daily, I'm not going to modify it very much..probably some exhaust tweaking and lowering about 2" all around.
What should I look for when buying a w163?
Is the 2000 model the best of the 98-00?
Do any of them use rear air suspension?
Anyone weld the amg mufflers onto the V6 exhaust?
What years were the sport models made and what are the differences?
