How much did it cost? and please keep us updated on power gains and sound level once you install it. I'm shopping for exhaust also.

exhaust

both JimB and I are replacing existing dual pipe kits. I can't wait to install mine next week, same thing. Here's what we currently have. More cosmetics than anything. But I hope it does change the exhaust note a little.

oh hi ML500

I'm not sure if there is a power increase because this is just a tip. It will be connected after the muffler so no gain in power, I have an old style quad tip and I like the sound.

The cost is $299.00 + Ca Tax at PP, all stainless steel. You can even go there and pick it up, you are just about 20 - 30 miles away from their store maybe less, right?

What I meant is your quad exhaust. Where did you get your quad exhaust system? How much is cost? Hows the sound level and power? Any info is appreciated, thanks.

I think I did answer your question on my last post. Anyway,

The cost of the quad tips are $299.00 plus California tax. plus shipping.

You can buy them at Performance product at Van Nuy, California. Tel: 1-800-243-1220 or www.performanceproducts.com

There is no power gain because the exhaust is just for looks

The sound has a little Vrooooommmmm compare to the OEM.

The reason I said you can pick them up, I thought the Thousand Oaks is in California, Isn't it? and Van Nuys is about 20-30 miles North of 405 freeway.

I hope I answer your question.

NOT TRUE QUAD

The dual exhaust kit, as tagged by PP splits the stock pipe from the muffler to a dual exhaust. The tips split again to allow dual tips on each exhast pipe.

The replacement kit that JimB is installing is a big improvement over the original kit we have. My replacement T304 Stainless kit arrived Friday afternoon. I should have it on the ML by Tuesday afternoon. I look forward to a frewsh post of the new kit.

I checked their website and it seems they don't have one for the ML500. I guess in time they will have it. Soon, I hope.
