newbie question

I have an '99 ML320 and my CEL is on. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself or is it purely an MB Technicians job? I have checked the fuel cap and air filter and don't seem to notice any thing wrong with the car.

Could you believe, this is the first time I found this site after owning my ML for over 4 years!

duh!

Could be your mass air flow sensor, or

anyone of number of other sensors. I've just had my MAS changed at 45,000 miles. Maybe someone else can help you diagnose the problem ?
Good luck
