ML430 '00 NAV maps not calibrated
I love my ML430 it works for me... I have had it since 6800 miles.
The maps are not calibrated. Once I moved the stock antenna on hte rear of the roof and I thought it calibrated it.
the maps change and as i move the maps move but they are not in the correct location?
has anyone experienced this? what should I do? I have the original mercedes cd's.
BTW people still think my '00 ML430 is new. I keep it that way.
keep the faith

there is a compass calibration technique somewhere in the tech forums. Almost the same as an aircraft, that is drive in a circle until the car knows where it's at. I'll have to dig it up as I believe the compass is part of the nave system. If it's not and it is a sole GPS system then I'm barking up the wrong tree.
