Transmission shifting
Hi, I just returned from a thousand mile trip and went to work the next day no issues with my ML430. On the way home when I came to a stop and the ML shuttered like I had bad gas. Then it didn't do it again until my last stop before home. When pulling into my driveway it would'nt move.I shut it off and went out after about 20 minutes and tried it again and it made a low grinding noise in park and neutral but not in the other gears. I engaged the low range put in drive and it pulled right up into the carport. Now it only works in drive,neutral and park are okay and the low noise is gone. I'm thinking something electronic went wrong, I have not had any problems or signs of problems from the trans until now just all of the sudden. Anyone have any ideas? Regards,Scott

i would suggest you to check the transmission mount and transmission liquid. use a dip stick to check the liquid. if it has turned brown then get the transmission liquid changed.
