ML 270 CDI
heater problems
I have a 2004 ML270 and am having problems with the interior heating. Most of the time when I set the heater dial for the heat to go to the windscreen It does not. It blows somewhere else not what I set the dial to. During the cold spell with frozen ice on the windscreen, It I could not get the heater to the windscreen to melt the snow

Vent actuator
If you're getting heat, but only at one location. Could be vent actuator needs to be reset. Try this..... * press and hold defrost & recirulation buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds, then release. If things are in working order (linkage not broken) actuator will reset.
