2002 Mercedes S500
impressions on the new lexus suv?
thinking of leasing one since the my wife's ML's lease is almost up. how do you like it? should i stick with mercedes and get the ML500? G500 is a bit too much. Also looking at Acura MDX, Lexus RX300, and BMW X5. Which do you prefer?

my opinion = i like pretty much any other suv...
acura mdx, lexus rx300, bmw x5, etc.

i also like the new volvo xc90 that's coming out (probably not before your lease ends though), and also, the new landrover.

I love MB but...
The new ML is not getting very good press. Seems like it is not quite as up to snuff as it should be. It is also the biggest reason (no pun intended) for the poor reliability ratings with MB in past years. I would look closely at the MDX. I hear great things about them although they take some time to get. Last I heard there was a 4 month wait. Bottom line.. get what makes you happy. What will you like to walk outside everyday and look at? I love lookin at my new C. So get something that inspires you to want to drive it....
