my ml430 2000 model is stalling at stop lights. so far starts back immediately every time. rpms drop and looses power then dies. fortunately it has started back everytime so far. started happening two weeks ago. now becoming more frequent. cat was replaced in 07... lost fire in cylinder 8. stealer fixed both and im still broke from that last go aruond. been thinking its a crankshaft, maf sensor, any ideas? please help in hard times have 4 kids. two in which Ive raised as my own since little toddlers now 6 and 8 and also my biological baby's 5 months and 17 month yea only almost a year between the two. please someone help me. ive been researching this forum. and seems as tho the crankshaft sensor will make your car wait several minutes to restart. mine just started this problem any suggestions

Reads like crankshaft position sensor, which is common.
