2001 ML320 Nav System Question
Did all of the '01 ML320's come with the nav system? Because I noticed that they all have the big screen.
If they dont all come with the nav system, how do I find out whether or not mine has it. And if it doesnt, how much would it cost to retrofit it?
Regards,
Dan

Awaiting a new arrival...
NAV was not standard in the ML320. MCS, the big screen is, but not NAV. It can be retrofitted with the CD-based or DVD-based versions fairly easily. The DVD version has all states covered on 1 disc.
To determine if you have NAV, hit the open button on front of the MCS. If you see a single slot CD hole, you may have it. There is a single CD option that works without having a CD changer. If you have a CD changer and the single slot, you probably have NAV already. Good luck in your discovery.

I think you can get the CD version new for $1000-1100 and the DVD version for around $1300-1500. It is a relatively easy install.
Occassionally they are for sale on Ebay, too.
