Exclamation Trade in ML350 ?!?!?

Hi all,

This is something very strange that I really want to hear from your comments and recommendations .
I just bought a ML350 inspiration p37 w/cd changer for 41.5k out of the door. Now, because I want to add on many other options for this car. I'm feel so regret that I didn't get the full loaded inspiration p38 w/ Bose sound system, which I just found out at other dealer that offer me for only 42.2 k. Plus, I may ask the dealer to add in the Navigation package at begining which is still much cheaper than to get it later at the full price.
So I am thinking of bring in my ML which have only 2.6k mile to trade in for the p38 full loaded model. Because it might probably cheaper than to use my current p37 to add up to p38 w/ Bose & Navigation at the dealer.
..... Anyway, I still lose somewhere around +/- 5k , but I can have it going to finance then the payment wouldn't be that big of a concern .

Thanks for your feedback.

Should've thought before you bought. Oh well. You have to decide if the Bose sound and other features are worth the 5k you're going to lose. That's an awful lot of money to upgrade a few options. You could always list the car on eBay or in the paper. I'm sure there's someone willing to buy it for much more than the dealer will give for it.

If it were my vehicle

I would enjoy my new vehicle and think about a nice stereo upgrade. There are some great options, including the Harmon Kardon traffic pro, Blaupunkt travel pilot, and zillions others. I enjoy the Bose much more than many on this board but, if I were doing it again, AND wanted navigation, I would go aftermarket; much more flexibility. Oh yeah, buy the best cable you can afford.

And until you put the deal together, you don't know how ugly that gap can be. Sales tax, tag, all that other mess. Yuk.

I would go visit a couple of great sound shops and enjoy the weekend.

All the best.

Luckily, I live in a state w/o sales tax. Yay!!

I'm waiting to see the new GST-Class. I don't take my ML off road (who does, honestly). I like sitting up higher and being able to haul most anything.

Hey ffejalink

Curiosity killed the cat. . . . What's that C230 going to set you back? I have put that very setup together on mbusa.com. Accept my apologies for being nosey, but please tell me.

Thanks.

Ray
