Mercedes-Benz ML430
Troubles with cabin heating
I am having troubles with my cabin heating system as follows:
Car: Mercedes-Benz ML430 W163 from 6/2000 with air-condition.
When the engine is cold, it is possible to get the same temperature from the lower and upper center vents. When the engine thermostat open, the heat from the upper center vents dissapear and blow cold air - there is still hot at the lower vents. The temperature difference between the lower and upper center vents is approx. 10 - 15 degreese celcius ( warm engine ).
I have had the system controlled by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, but they were not able to solve the problem.
I have changed the circulating water pump to the cabin system, but that wasn´t the reason for the troubles...
Any idea how to solve the problem ?
