Brake light comes on after brakes installed
Installed front pads and brake sensors a few days ago. (My warning light was coming on when brakes applied). All is fine except, for example, sitting at stop light with brake pedal applied, warning light (brake) comes on. All other stop & go driving is ago. Any ideas. Just a thought, does the brake warning light have to be reset after a brake job? Thanks....

I am assuming that you are referring to the red BRAKE indicator lamp. If that is the case, then that is an indication that you need brakes to be replaced because the fluid level has gone down.
It is also to alert you that there is insufficient brake fluid, the parking brake is on or you have a problem with the EBP system (which has to do with the rear brakes).
All of this is in your owner's manual.

Thanks for the reply. The light coming on is the yellow brake indicator lamp that comes on when brakes are worn. I know the rear brakes are okay. And, the front pads and sensors are brand new.

If that is the case, then disconnect one sensor at a time and see what happens. That way you will know what wheel it is. If the sensors were not installed correctly or of poor quality that could be the problem
