Sure. Use hair dryer to heat it up a little and then dental floss to remove the pieces.

Yes, that is it. Of course there will be residue because of the glue. The dental floss will not scratch the paint.

I use fishing line to take the emblem off, then I uses WD40 to take out the residue . Afterward I uses turtle wax to polish it and its looks like the emblem were never on there.

Cool Oh thanks! Also, how about the discoloration?

Did you have any problems with matching the expose paint and the non expose paint?

its almost unnoticible but if you look really closely you can still see the marking of the original emblem shape there. That's if you go up close and personal. but a good polishing would help a lot.

Unhappy Hmm, YOu have a Silver ML, I have a Midnight Blueish color

Check my profile.
That's why I'm afraid the color will maybe show more on my car then light colors.

Cool thanks I got it off but still some residue

on it. YOu can't really see it, but if you look you'll see it. I WD40, washed and wax and it's still there. I know you can't see it, but knowing the fact it's there, it'll bother me.

Any one have any clever suggestion on taking the very lettle residue off?

Thanks guys!

Since you didn't take it off when you first purchase your ML new in 99' the fading paint may have made it more visual. All I can said is give it a good polish and let the sun do the rest. Maybe in couple of month it'll start to blend in and if you still bother by it after couple of month then find another emblem like brabus, kleeman, carlsson anthing to cover it up.

Actually, the paint is not bad at all, no uneven on the paint!

I do have Brabus put on but they put it on the right side. There's no uneven paint, lucky me, it's residue you can see.

I guess I'll "wax on and wax off" for a while hee hee

thanks
