Hey,

New to the forum.
Decided to do a build thread on my 1998 ML320.

Recently stumbled upon a set of 21" AMG wheels off a 2010 ML350CDI for $405NZD ($310USD). It came with x3 Conti sport contact 2 tires, and I randomly found another used Conti sport contact 2 tyre with the same amount of thread..

I last owned a 1994 C180 (w202), and enjoyed the ride and look of the car. The ML was passed onto me from my parents as they upgraded their car to the new 2011 ML350.

Anyways, here's a few quick snaps from my iPhone of the ML.







Have currently planned to:
- Updated grill
- Remove mud guards n rain guards
- Lowering kit? (maybe)
- Re tint all windows
- and a bloody good detailing of the whole car!

Will be updating the thread when I can and the process.

Stock bolts (14 x 1.5 x 27mm) vs new bolts (14 x 1.5 x 40mm)





Fitted one side on to see if the bolts knocked/rubbed against the brakes.

I've those wheels on my 350cdi. Check out the replacement cost of the tyres here in NZ. About $1300 each retail. You're lucky if you can get 20,000km out of them on our roads. But they do look good!

Can you post some pictures from the rear and front of the vehicle. I want to see how far the wheels stick out past or inside the fender wells.
