why! you already have very large rotors and pistons. infact, for 2002 the brakes were upgraded to 13.5 inch rear rotors (compared to 13 for 2001 on the 430/55). You already have brembo 4 piston front calipers with 13.5 inch vented rotors up front and brembo 2 piston calipers with 13.5 inch solid discs in the back. Unless you drive it very hard on a track, there is no need for new brakes, it will not make any difference.

Maybe just x-drilled/slotted rotors since you already got Brembo calipers...

Thanks for the information. Exactly what I'm looking for. I was just confirming these information with someone else and yes I have Brembo on my ML500. I guess I need to read my owner's manual more instead of just guess it. Otherwise I would of known as you indicated I got Brembo already. I guess unless I'm going for 18" or more wheel upgrade there is not enough space there for a big rotor kit. As for now is good enough. I might get a slotted rotor and better pad in the near future but probably not going to upgraded cause those big rotor kit is over 3k for just the front and I just don't feel that price is well justified. Well, thanks again for the detail information on my ML500's brake system.
