ML230 Navigation DVD scratched
Hello,
I have a ML230 2005. The COMMAND Navigtion DVD is already scratched and the navigation doesn't work in my area (due to bad sectors on the DVD). How can I get a copy/backup of the DVD?
Thanks,
- George

Re: ML230 Navigation DVD scratched
Hi!
I have the same problem!
Sometimes the DVD can be read, but mostly it simply does not work.
I can read the DVD on my laptop, so I tried to make a backup/copy.
When inserting the backup disc, it shows the navigation picture (the picture of the M-class), but then it gives me an error msg: "Can't read DVD - please check the disc".
Is this because it is a burned copy? Can the MCS not read burned DVDs?
... or perhaps the drive is not working correctly?
I can play music cd's with no problems.
I would like to try a working (original) disc before buying myself a new one (a new is $250), but unfortunately I don't know anyone who drives an M-class with DVD navigation.
Help.... anyone?
