Wont stop cranking 99 ml320
I just bought this 99 ml 320. When starting it, it will keep cranking if I dont pull the key slightly back. Also, yesterday when I was turning into a driveway, it stalled. When i tried to restart the car, there was no cranking at all, just all lights when i turned key. It did restart, after a few tries. Can anyone give me any advice on this? I am not mechanically inclined.

Don't worry about the engine cranking by itself, as it is a feature (Tip Start) built into the system. Let the engine crank by itself and it will automatically stop after timing out. Do not keep pulling on the key as you will have bigger problems.
You might have a couple of problems but you should start with the basics by checking all the positive and negative points for corrosion and the like. Always start with the battery and work your way down. Once you get to the starter disconnect the negative battery cable.
The stalling issue and the crank no start issue could possibly be a Crankshaft Position Sensor, but first rid yourself of the no crank issue.
