Leaking rear side window 99 ML430
Hi,
The rear-most side window on the passenger side started leaking in the rain the other day. (it does not open)
I have used tape on the outside which stopped it but looks really crude. I'd like to repair this ASAP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't he mean the "third row" or "trunk" passenger side window? He's referring to it as a fixed window with no openable vent. To me it sounds like the rubber seal/ adhesive used to secure the window has started coming off.

Correct. It is the rearmost side window. On the 99's it was fixed and did not open. I have to imagine that this has happened other similar cars.

I also have a 99 430 and haven't had such an issue, so sorry I can't help you out. Only thing I can think is the rubber seal and adhesive used is starting to fail.
BTW, 99s did have the vented windows on Canada spec cars with third row option. I've seen a few of these with WA registration which is pretty cool.
