well i when to replace my fuel pump and the dealer told me that

the fuel filter is no longer made and a longer verson has

replaced the older shorter one, buts that not all they have to

also replace the fuel lines to the feul pump. 136buck for parts

and 200 for labour and they will make you pay for it ,it is not

covered by warrenty. wondering what else has too be replaced

sooner or later when your filter needed changing this has too

be done the 1988 to 2001 models are affected.

It's a known defect and likely could / should be covered under 'goodwill' especially if yours is '00 like mine and either still under warranty or just out.

Looks like your dealer might be short on the 'goodwill'....
