Wheel Fitment Question

Does anyone know if the wheels off a 00 S500 would fit an ML320? The reason I ask is because I know someone selling a set of 20's Brabus Vs that were on an S500. These have no tires so thats not the issue, just general fitment and clearance issues. Could someone post the offsets for both cars? Thanks in advance!

They should. Both the M-Class and a late model S-Class have the same bolt pattern (5x112) and offset (+35).

Brabus has Monoblock IV and VI available for the MLs. S-class standard offset is ET44. ML is ET40. Well, you may be able to put those wheels on a ML provided you can buy the right hub-centric spacer.

Harris,
Would the 4mm difference between the 2 offsets warrant spacers? Thanks.

All Brabus wheels have an offset of ET45 (except for the A-class and the Smart), and if you were to buy a Monoblock VI, I am pretty sure that you will be given the hub centric spacer with the correct thickness for the ML. I would suggest you to call Brabus directly and ask them if a M-class Monoblock VI hub centric spacer is compatible with a S-class Monoblock V wheel. If yes, perhaps you can buy from them. Since we know such spacer does exist, I think its better to do everything perfectly than to guess. Agree?

I just called Brabus. Apparently, the reason why the Monoblock V is not offered for the ML is because its not load rated for the vehicle. Meaning, in plain terms as the Brabus rep explained to me, that the wheel might break when used on the ML.
Oh well, thanks anyways!
