Hi everyone I am new here. I have a 99 ml430 that I just bought a few days ago. Last night I fixed the drivers side power seat, headlght and cleaned the MAF (check engine). Later that night a buddy's friend opened the door and when he did it beeped for a sec. he shut the door and it did it again. I thought it was a little weird so i locked it with the fob. I started it to leave and the wipers were going and the alarm horn was sounding off. I tried locking the door with the key and then all of the blinkers started flashing. I started it again and the once again the horn and wipers were going. I had to disconnect the alarm horn and the wiper fuse to get home. Any ideas on how to fix this? The engine wasnt as smooth on the drive home either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With key in hand, open the hood and replace the alarm horn and the wiper fuse.

Close the hood. What happens?

Use the remote to lock the truck.
1. do the tail lamps blink 3 times?
2. are all door buttons down?
3. is the tailgate locked?
