DIY infor needed on Seal and Tranny fluid replacement

I'm getting a small leak of tranny Fluid and was wonder if I can replace the
seal and fluid myself. If so is there a how to thread. Thanks in advance
for any help. If not what a good price to have it done for?

This is for a 99 ML430 and after doing some checking it could also be the
electrical adapter/connector on the front right of the transmission.
Part number and pic would be nice.

Ok I should have added I have the leak that comes from the Electrical connector
on the right front of the transmission. So since I will have to drop the
fluid anyway was wondering if there is any ATF fluid you can use instead of
the MB fluid. No dealers here where I live.

Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, MINI and more!
We carry FEBI and Fuchs Titan brand ATF which are the MBZ-approved alternatives to the OEM Genuine Mercedes-Benz fluid.

As for the electrical connector, are you talking about the control unit?
