Arrow FOR SALE-2003 MLComplete Audio System

I have a complete OEM 2003 ML350 Sound System for sale. Everything is fully functional. The MCS Head Unit with Cassette (no NAV or CD/DCD), the 6 disc CD changer, the Bose amp and the Bose under the drivers seat Sub. Included are the Head Unit removal keys and the factory Operating Manual for the Stereo. This I believe is what they call the MCS system that is inter connected via fiber optics between the units. From my understanding this was in all the 2003 to 2005 ML sires. Unfortunately I do not have the fiber as well, it would be very impractical to remove the entire interior just to pull it out to re-sale. You can see the system in action just before I removed it at

Here are the components - their part numbers - individual asking prices OBO.

Head Unit - A 163 820 20 86 - $175
CD Changer - A 163 820 38 89 - $125
Bose Amp - A 163 820 27 89 - $95
Bose Sub - A 163 820 10 02 - $55

I would really like to sell them all together. If you buy all together I would like to get $375 OBO.

Would that head unit also work a 2000 ML430? Mine is burnt out. It has Nav, but I dont need Nav anyways.

I don't think so. It looks the same, but I do not believe that yours uses fiber optics. If you pull your head unit out, you should have a couple of connectors pluged in together with a bunch of wires, the antena cable, (since you have NAV you might have another antena cable for that) and then on mine there is a cable that is orange that goes to an angled plug that is pluged into the bottom midle of the head unit. When you disconect that there are like 2 plastic prongs sticking out kinda white and red. That is the fiber optics. If you have that, then yes this should work for you. Oh yeah, I do have the Security Code as well. Helps to have that if you want it to work!
