anyone help ERROR CODES: P1189 & P1440

anyone help ERROR CODES: P1189 & P1440
HI

I managed to get the codes for my ML and the error codes are

- P1189 Inlet Port Shut Off, General Error

- P1440 Charge Pressure Negative Control, Charge Pressure Low

Anyone know what these are and how to fix it as i'm not getting any kick down and it doesn't go above 2500rpms

I would appreciate it if anyone can recommend someone who can fix them a a reasonable price.
