I would like to know whats the biggest alternator i can find that fits straight on to my ML without any brackets being made, i am running a 150amp original standard alt with adjustable regulator fitted. also what is the highest i can turn my adjustable regulator up? my adjustable reg has 3 settings 12-14v 14-17v 17-21v I'm using the middle setting and i don't go over 15.5 15.6 when in demo mode but turned back down to 14.5v for daily driving and charging. so whats the highest voltage my car will handle before i kill ecu or the likes.
