North to Alaska
Has anyone ever driven an ML( or any car for that matter) on the Allcan Highway to Alaska? Would it be wise to take a ML that far away from a dealership? What would you do if you broke down? Is there a DVD Nav. disk?

Well I can't really help you there, but I do know that Road and Track (I think it was them, maybe some other magazine) had a little 'excursion' in which they took a G500 up through quite a bit of Alaska and saw a lot of things, etc.
They did have some issues along the way, but nothing serious (like a flat tire, etc.). I would guess the main issue would be the lack of a dealer in many areas up there. But, although it probably wouldn't be a very good experience, Roadside Assistance should be able to get to you to tow you to the dealer if necessary, so it's not as serious as it would be without any resource of that kind.
