Where does that hose connect?

Where does that hose connect?
I have a 99 ML430 with the classic ETS/ABS lights on.
I know I have read several things other people have done to resolve this and I will be trying some of this later.
I took a look down at the ABS pump and found a hose not hooked up. It is a rubber hose about 3-4 inches and is only hooked up on the bottom. looks like some thing is missing that the other end should be hooked to. I looked all around with a light and mirror but could not locate anything this hose goes on.
Does anyone have a good diagram of the pump with what is hooked to what?
