2001 ML430 overhead computer removal

I need to replace the overhead computer. Does anyone know how to remove the cover and computer? I appreciate it. Thank you.

I could not locate any black clips after removing the lens cover. Do you know how it is done? The screws to loosen the console on my 2001 ML 430 are in a different location than the video. Thank you.

Whether or not the screws are in a different position (but they aren't) is unimportant, as long as you removed them

The black clips are located by the green arrows.

Also, the two long locking tabs at the end of the video must be pushed rearward to release the entire console.

Not quite the same

I have a '00 ML55. I looked at the video that is referenced, but evidently I either missed something, or the ML55 js different from its cousins. I have reached inside and disengaged the two plastic clips that are at the forward end of the GDO compartment, however, the console will not pull down. It appears that something is holding it. The rear of the console is free, but it feels as though something is holding it near the center. Any ideas? Thank you. I have a leak that has damaged one shifter,, so am trying to see where the water originates. It is dripping from the bottom of the console under the trip computer.
