2001 ML320 daylight DIY

I have a 2001 ML320 but no fog light installed. I want to install two daylight at the bumper but don't know where to get the 12V power for the two lights. Since they are daylights, I would like to have them on when the engine started.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the cut-outs in your bumper for the fog lights?

No, but I think I can manage to drill holes on the bumper to fix the daylight with screws. The most important part is where to get the power for the daylight when starting the engine.

Many have tried to drill holes and it looks terrible every time, but you can do what you like.

Take both covers off the fuse box and attach ground wires and power wires to the appropriate terminals in the photo. You will need to supply a nut for the center stud. Also install an in-line fuse holder with a 7.5 amp fuse for each power feed to Cir. 15 stud.

Sorry, due to busy in my job, I have no time to follow your suggestion.

I am free now and will continue this task but want to clarify if I can connect the grounding to the grounding point located at the back of main headlight?
