Your opinion ML320 vs ML55 vs G500
I need your opinions. I am currently leasing 2000 ML320 no M1, M2 packages (hence no leather or power seats), heated seats, 17" ML430 wheels, tint, side step bars and fog lights. The lease is over in two months and I am faced with option to either buy it for $24450 at 48K miles, extend the lease or return it.
A local dealer has a 2000 ML55 in good condition with 32K miles, which I think I can negotiate down to about $34K. There is also a 2000 G500 with 53K miles available for about $39K. So the options are:
- Buy current 2000 ML 320 for $24450 (has common problems fixed under warranty e.g: fuel pump, ps hose, rear shocks, oxygen sensor, seat trim)
- Buy 2000 ML 55 $34K (interior 8 out of 10, exterior 10 out of 10)
- Buy 2000 G500 $39K (imported from Europe)
I you were in my position what would you choose.

2002 ML320
ML55 - the best option of the three.
An '00 ML320 without M1, etc. with 48k miles would definitely not be worth $24k IMO - go for the ML55.
The G will be best for the 'show off factor,' but it's a much less civilized car for on-road use.
