The headunit in the 02 ml 500 is a problem. I can't find the wiring diagram for the stereo. Its an Alpine RA 4210. I've checked numerous sites and used numerous wiring harnesses but all don't work. Does anyone knows the answer to this $100,000,000.00 question.
Hopefully all the information is installed as you pointed out to me. This is a picture of the wiring that I have a problem with. I have power but no sound and the speakers are not connected in the harness. So it must be the amplifier I need to connect to but I don't know which wire is for the amplifier.
This is the wiring harness for the power. The smaller one is for the CD changer but which is the amplifier and how do I connect to it (if I can.)
Harold, if the radio stations illuminate but there is no sound, the problem is not with the amplifier. It is an internal problem within the radio (known issue).
You have two choices, send it out for repair or purchase a used radio on line using part number of your present radio 163 820 xx xx.
