Does anyone know if the feature that raises and lowers the volume of the radio depending on cabin noise and speed can be turned off. I think its called audiopilot.

Audiopilot
I believe there are two adjustments. Audiopilot adjusts for "ambiant noise" and the speed volume coltrol (SVC) adjusts the radio volume based on speed and noise - if for example you are driving with a window open. I asked my dealer to turn both off but I still get a slight volume adjustment "upward" when I stop. It could be radio signal strength though because I don't notice it when I listen to CDs. There are several levels of decible adjustments for the SVC. I believe they are 9, 6 (default), 3 adn 0. I had mine se to 0. Hope this helps.

Re: Autopilot
Can you turn this feature off or do you have to go to the dealer, and what do you tell the dealer as to how to turn it off? Also is it possible to get the radio to display RDS infomation for stations?
Thanks,
