First, add brake fluid to the line and not above, check tire pressue, check brake light bulbs, check that parking brake is off, does cruise control work? Does the car run as normal? Search through the threads here using the search function "brake beeping

brake wear sensors because you need new pads or the sensors are grounding - https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...ke-sensor.html
ABS unit, which you might just be able to replace the motor brushes - https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...r-beeping.html
wires leading to the ABS unit, as mentioned in the other thread and here https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...-flashing.html
Could be other sensors, as the vehicle is over-engineered.
Get it scanned for brake codes and post the brake codes. This requires a better scan than the parts stores do, that most shops will have. Post/search the codes and someone will reply.

To add to Aar Sto. If all of his measures don't work you will have to either purchase a new abs pump or get it remanufactured. I had the same issue with my mother in law's ML. After all of the trouble shooting I sent the module to get remanufactured. After 4 months it is still fixed. I sent it to Circuit Solutions/Module Master. I opted for the tier 2. Click this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-ML-Series-320-430-500-ABS-Control-Module-TIER-3-Repair-REBUILD-/271691620750?hash=item3f4215218e to see their eBay page. It took about 1.5 weeks to get it back. They offer a 5 year warranty. I don't work for them but their service saved her over $1,000.

or
If it is the abs then you have the version that you can just replace the brushes on. If you are already going to take the unit out yourself, might as well just replace the brushes diy - quicker and cheaper. The brushes are $10 and most obscure hardware stores have them or Harbor Freight carries some. You can even get ones that are slightly different size and cut them to fit.
