This is driving me insane ! (Well, a few are)
Hi. I'm new to the forum.
A few issues I'm having:
1.) Whenever I brake, I'm hearing a clicking sound from underneath the car. It doesn't do it all the time, but quite frequently. I've had the rotors, calipers, and brakes replaced not long ago, and inspected recently. They work fine, just get an annoying clicking noise on braking. Any ideas ? Something I have to worry about ?
2.) I replaced a few rear tail bulbs with led. The led didn't fit in the right side blinker, so I left the amber bulb in. BUT, now, with the led in the left, it blinks really fast on a left signal, and normal on a right signal. ????? lower voltage draw, maybe ? (Guess I'll have to make the led work on the right.)
3.) My right back up light stays on. I just noticed it after replacing the bulbs on both sides with led, but it might have been doing that for a long time. They aren't very bright, so I may not have noticed it. That might explain why my battery drains if I let the car sit for two days or more. (Nearly new and expensive battery)
So, any ideas ?

In my experience older German cars hate LEDs. I have had little success with it. My license plate lights are LED, they are fine. They didn't work as dome lights. I tried them in the instrument cluster but they don't last long.

Did the light problems start after you replaced the LEDs ?
If so be sure the LEDs are installed correctly.
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. Because they are didoes they have polarity. Unlike a regular bulb you can install them incorrectly. Remove the non working LED and rotate it 180 degrees. The signal lights may require a LED compatible (low current draw flasher).
