Is the battery dead or are you worried because of it's age?

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
you can do it if you want, its about time for it to go. and 200 for a battery is very reasonable.

It is a pain to change. I had mine changed out by Goodyear. Only charged me for the battery. You need to find a group 49. Not easy to locate. Cost was $109. Made by Exide.

$200 bucks is way too much ... just call roadside and have them changed it for you ... they always keep a couple of spare new batteries in the service ML. around $150

Guys, just a quick question. Where is the battery on the US spec models? On my model (Puch built) it is in the engine bay, and easy to access.

Thanks
Nick

I think that MB will change out your first battery free of charge the first time. Now that battery that they put in has a warranty of 4 years...if it fails within the first year, free replacement, 2nd year, you pay 25% of a new battery, 3rd year you pay 50% 4th year you pay 75%.

At least this is true on my w202...

Give MB roadside a call and see what they can do.
