W163 / A-pillar (how to find right color before buying online)

Hi all,

Got super helpful tips here in the past, and hopefully, i can get some help on this one as well.

My A-pillar is the issue, the fabric started to peel (as they all do on the W163's) I tried applying some glue but messed it up further, so decided to order some new ones. I have seen them online at MB parts world etc for not that much.

My question is, as they all come with a color code, how can I find what color mine is? On EPC they come with a color footnote, but I don't know what my color is but my data card mentioned "ANTHRACITE" But even then, when I look on that footnote on EPC there are 7 versions or color code of ANTHRACITE how do I find out which mine is? As I took the A-pillar off (driver side) there is a sticker on it with "2250013" on it, but i can't connect that with the color codes.

attaching 3 things here, EPC, EPC footnote, and my data card hope to get some help/clarification on this one.

I know L/R is as below, but what color code? and how to find out I don't know.

163 690 17 25
163 690 18 25

thanks in advance.

Anthracite refers to the leather seat color.

What is the present color of your trim panels; grey, tan, etc.

its Gray for sure, so that might answer the question right there. W163 came with a few models apparently for the a pillars, i got some from the junkyard but the mountings were different, i ripped the fabric off those i found there and retrofitted on my a pillars. But seems the version of my a pillar is slightly wider, it doesn't stretch all the way. I'll see when the glue dries, worst case scenario is to get new ones. i have seen them on MB parts world for like $80 US a side.
