ML400 2002 Low Gears issue

2002 MERCEDES ML 400
ML400 2002 Low Gears issue
When i select low gear the light flashes 3 times as normal then flashers rapidley and turn off without engaging low gears

I think he means Low Range....
Do it this way:
1. Start the car.
2. Put the car to Neutral N
3. Press the Low Range button.

Yes, in all probability, but everyone should express themselves correctly. Why do we have to interpret for them?
