2000 ML430
2000 ML430 AC sensors

I took my car to see about getting the ac to work. I just bought it and it has been sitting for 3 years. The shop told me they couldn't charge it because the wiring harness by the sensors was damaged. I don't have any Idea where to look. I also have a constant clicking noise behind my dashboard. Can anyone Please help?

Very strange, if EC light not on, you should be able to start the compressor and check refrig status with gauges----go back to the dude and ask again!

You need to ask for clarification from the shop. Sounds like a very vague explanation.

For the clicking, there is a blend door motor that the internal plastic gear breaks. It will often be stuck on hot and not be able to move to cold. Requires dash removal.
