SDML320

Hey everyone i just did the fuel filter update on my 2000 ml320. Cost $83 for the filter and the one fuel line that was $19. The procedure was fairly easy except after completion the engined misfired and set the CEL on. I have the CAR CHIP so I reset the light (misfire on cyclinder 4) was the error. I replaced the fuel filter because the truck would crank forever when it was cold and would start fine when warm. A friend of mine is a Mercedes mechanic and that was his suggestion and it worked starts on the second spin of the engine now. I guess the new filter/pressure regulator and fuel line help keep fuel pressure higher for better starting and I beleive it now!
