2015 C63 AMG 507
Dunno yet,
Those pics make it look kinda short and squatty. The other pics I've seen make it look longer, but the sloping back end is a turn off for me. The jury is still out for me.
Though the hybrid technology is very interesting, and the performance numbers look fairly close to the current ML55. We shall see. If there is going to be a ML63 coming up, I may stick with the W series bodystyles. How bout you, you like it?
Does anyone know if the roof will have electric tint, or what? It would get very hot here in the desert!

2002 ML320
The car is looking squashed because the photos are out of proportion.
BTW, that is the Vision GST II (from many months ago), not the production R-Class that will likely be coming this fall or early 2005.
The production model will not, of course, have all the fancy things like the fully-glass electrochromic roof, etc. It also will be powered by conventional gas engines - starting with MB's new 3.5L direct-injection V6, first seen in the new SLK350 (not to be confused with the current ML350's 3.7L V6, which is just the 3.2L bored out to 3.7L).
It'll also have the expected 5.0L V8, and the AMG version should come out with the 6.3L naturally-aspirated (no super or turbochargers) V8, putting out somewhere between 400 and 600 horsepower in the R63.
The ML63 AMG will be slightly detuned (less "performance optimized," whatever that means...) compared to its R-Class sibling, in order to maintain the more on-road focus of the R63 versus the more on-road/off-road balance in the W164 ML.
A smaller MB sport-ute is also in the works - the final name is not known yet, but it could be the MST, X-Class, or a few other things MB has registered.
