The ML doesn't have COMAND, it's called MCS (Modular Control System). And it's standard in all 2000 and newer MLs.

Apart from in Europe, where it gets COMAND which was an option that started somewhere in the middle of Model Year 2000, maybee Model Year 2001 (although they dont advertise cars by model year quite in the same way in the UK)

Retrofitting is easy, if you have a COMAND from a ML, all you need is an adapter harness and a GPS antenna for the roof - the wiring is all in place.

We never saw MCS on European MLs.
