Where is the coolant temperature sensor?

ML320
Where is the coolant temperature sensor?
I have an ML320 with engine M112e32. For the life of me, I cannot find a photo online that points to where this part is. I know I need to drain the coolant prior to replacing this part, but I cannot locate where this thing is. Any help via steps or photo with an arrow would be appreciated. Thank you!

You don't need to drain the coolant. Make sure you have the new sensor before attempting to remove the old one
