CODE P0432 on 2003 ML350
Hi everyone
My 2003 ML350 (with 166k miles) just getting a code P0432 -Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2).
Works recently done :
- New Bosch spark plugs +2
-New spark plug wires (Prenco)
- Air filter
Right after I replaced Spark plugs and plug wires set, it started to get burning smell (plastic or rubber) when I turn the heat on. I checked all plugs wires and didn't find anything burnt but the CEL lid up.the car runs strong as previously stated.
Could someone give me suggestions what could cause this problem ? Thanks in advance

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500
You will have to look at your complete exhaust system as you might have driven over a plastic bag and it has melted onto the exhaust. It takes a long time for the smell to disappear.

Thanks for your suggestion ,Maj.Dundee. i will inspect whole exhaust system this weekend. And hope that plastic piece (possible) didn't relate to CEL lid up and Code P0432 .I did clear that code by scanner and it hasn't come back after 2 days. Engine running good without issue for now.
